Our story
A lab visit that comes to you, from people who care
J&E Mobile Lab Services of Pueblo brings gentle blood draws and lab collections to homes, offices and care facilities, so no one has to sit in a waiting room.
Why we started
35 years ago, we both worked at Roche Biomedical, side by side in the laboratory. Over the years, we saw how much easier things were for patients when the care came to them, and we thought, why not bring the lab to the people?
So we started J&E Mobile Lab Services of Pueblo, just the two of us, with a lot of determination. Today, we're still bringing the same care and precision we learned in the lab right to your door.

It depends on the tests your provider ordered. Some, like cholesterol or glucose panels, usually call for 8 to 12 hours without food, while plain water is typically fine and helps your veins. Follow the instructions on your lab order, and if you are unsure, check with your provider before the visit.

Preparing a child
- Tell them the truth in simple words: a quick pinch, then done.
- Offer water and a light snack beforehand unless fasting is required.
- Let them pick a comfy spot and a favorite toy, book or video.
- Stay close, hold their hand and praise their bravery afterward.
Preparing an elderly parent
- Encourage plenty of water the day before to help delicate veins.
- Have their medication list, insurance card and lab order ready.
- Choose a time of day when they are rested and relaxed.
- Wear a short or loose sleeve, and let us know about blood thinners or past difficult draws.
